The models are the same for everyone. The markup isn’t. Once I saw how little a generated image actually costs with your own API key, the resale prices stopped making sense.
So I built the tool I wanted: honest pricing, your own key, your data yours. myda is for designers who’d rather pay for the craft than the margin.
- Is myda really at cost?
- Yes. You generate on your own Google API key and Google bills you directly. myda never marks up image usage — we only charge a flat fee for the tool and the hosting that lets you use your own key safely.
- Is my API key safe?
- Your key is encrypted with Google Cloud KMS — a hardware-backed vault whose master key never leaves Google — so it is never stored in plaintext and never sent to your browser. It is decrypted only to make a single call to Google on your behalf, and you can delete it here or revoke it in Google AI Studio at any time. Full details are on our security page.
- Do I need a Google API key to start?
- Yes, and it is free to create one from Google AI Studio. With your key in hand you can be generating visuals within minutes.
